Account & Data Deletion Request

If you signed in to CleanSketch with Google, you can request that we delete your account and the personal data we store about you.

You do not need to create a new account to submit this request.

How to request deletion

We only accept requests sent from the same Google email address you used to sign in. That is how we verify that you own the account.

  1. Open the inbox of the Google account you used in CleanSketch.
  2. Send an email to xuetingcat@gmail.com.
  3. Use this subject line: Account Deletion Request - CleanSketch
  4. In the body, state that you want your CleanSketch account and associated server data permanently deleted, and include the Google email you signed in with.

Requests sent from a different email address will be rejected so that a third party cannot delete your account.

If you never signed in, we do not have a CleanSketch account to delete. Uninstall the app or clear its storage in Android settings to remove local drawings and preferences.

After you submit

We verify the email and complete deletion within 7 days. You will receive a confirmation email when it is done.

Data we delete

After verification we permanently delete from our systems (including Firebase Authentication and related account records):

  • Google profile data received at sign-in (name, email address, profile picture)
  • Account metadata (for example, terms-acceptance records)
  • Authentication tokens and identifiers tied to your account

We do not host your drawings on our servers, so there is no server-side artwork for us to erase.

Data on your device or Google account

You control these yourself; deleting the CleanSketch account does not remove them:

  • Local drawings and preferences — uninstall CleanSketch or clear the app’s storage in Android settings.
  • Google Drive backups — optional backups live in your Google Drive app-data folder, not on our servers. Turn off backup in the app, remove CleanSketch’s Drive access in your Google Account, or delete that app data from Drive.
  • Google Play purchases — Pro is billed and recorded by Google Play. Deleting your CleanSketch account does not refund a purchase. You can restore Pro later on the same Play account.

Data we may retain

We may keep limited records where required by law or to prevent fraud:

  • Google Play Billing order identifiers, retained as needed for tax, accounting, and anti-fraud purposes (typically up to 180 days, or longer if legally required)
  • Anonymized or aggregated analytics and crash logs that can no longer identify you

Google Play, Firebase, AdMob, and Google Drive may also retain data under Google’s own policies. We cannot delete data held solely by Google.
